Hi all, i need to repostion my sub and need a longer cable, how much should i expect to pay for a 'decent' 10m subwoofer cable?
While you're at it, any suggestions for such cable?
See sig for rest of my kit.
Many thanks.

Check out www.futureshop.co.uk some QED cables up to 50% off and there are loads of other deals on different brands. I just got a decent 3m sub cable that was reduced from £45 to £13. They also do custom lengths which you will probably need for 10 metres

Another thumbs up for the QED, particularly if you need a discrete cable (MPSW) which is easy to hide around the room under the carpet. I was going to suggest Mark Grant as his custom cables are brilliant quality but he's shut until 7 Oct. Bluejeanscables.co.uk are also good for custom lengths. Another one I would look at would be the QED Van Damme Ultra Cable at £37.

Many thanks for replies.
So around the £40 mark then for a 10m cable will get me a decent quality one to match the rest of my kit?
No need to spend more and I'm guessing less will be of too poor quality.

Do I need to spend £68 on a subwoofer cable?
Is the difference that noticable?
I'm only asking 'cos I don't know.

Gotcha - I think I'll keep clear of that one - without hearing it - it probably is too cheap.

If you can tell the difference between sub woofer cables, I suggest you sign up with the X-Men.

Nah, it is very subjective but most of the time people will say the difference is very minor, almost negligible. Just get yourself a shielded cable is good enough in my honest opinion. Since you are not gonna spend much, I reckon QED will just do fine or maybe Profigold and they are all available at futureshop as mentioned above.

On another note, what's important to sub is its placement. Once you got the sweet spot it is a blessing...
