1.1 vs 2.0 For Cinema over Christmas

Due to a logistical nightmare I can either have a 2.0 setup or 1.1 over christmas...what would you go for?

Main use is watching all of breaking bad + films. Can downmix audio to mono.

What do you mean by 1.1? Just 1 speaker and a subwoofer?? :O

I would prefer stereo anytime to it. Or a soundbar with subwoofer.

Out of the two, I'd go 2.0 all day long.

Breaking Bad is a superb production, IMHO. PQ & SQ via Netflix 'super HD' stream is very close to BluRay and better than some recent film transfers.

Appears I may be able to have my cake and eat it! Just found a dutch auction for Athena B2.2 speakers for £15 locally! Chuffed!

Good to know about breaking bad, looking forward to it massively now!

Breaking Bad is very, very good though the hype is a tad over the top.
