Yamaha YSP-2200 sound bar.

Hi all, was wondering if any one on this site has one of these and are they any good at projecting the sound around the room? Looking to add a sound bar to complement my new Panasonic TX-P50VT65B. The TV is in a through-lounge rather than a square room and I don't know if this will affect the surround-sound featue. Don't want to go down the road of speakers and wires around the room.

Hi there I've had the Yamaha ysp2200 since last August my room is 4mx4m with 3 stone walls it's pretty much perfect for film and music the volume at 35 sounds awesome ,sounds are bouncing everywhere ,the scene in the first Star Trek after kirk has his fight in the bar I can hear glasses chinking behind me as the staff clean up.but a lot of people are buying this sound bar with oddly shaped rooms with high ceilings etc expecting surround sound no sound bar will ever match even cheap 5.1 surround speakers .you have a cracking tv there .i would recommend the Yamaha just don't expect miracles.failing that just set aside 1 day of your life for properly tacking cables along skirtings etc it's a pain in the ass but give your movies the sound they deserve especially when you have the vt50 65 .
