Yamaha RX-V765? advice from the team maybe?

Have read the What Hi Fi review which rates as 4 star. I know have 4 questions:

1. Reviewed at £550, and now available at £299, I would like to know the teams opinion at that price?

2. Has there been a firmware upgrade so it works with Sky HD?

3. Given my speakers / BD player (below) Is the Denon 1910 worth an extra £90?

I have Mordaunt Short Alumni rear, centre and sub, with Mourdaunt Short Aviano 1s as front pair (for more bass, mid range and weight from the front of the system). Sony 360 BD player and Sony 40WE5.

Grateful for anyones opinion.

Straight to the bottom of the page, if you can get it for £299 it,s a no brainer.

I paid £400 and still consider it good value.

Yes there was a software upgrade, later models should have it.

Better built than the 1910 ( yes i have had one ) no HDMI hand shake issues with any of my kit, which includes 2 Blu Ray players, and a BT Vision box connected by HDMI.

Ample power,easy set up, good connectivity,and build quality and finish is top notch.....
