I just bought a full hd panasonic led tv (TX-L47DT50).

I want to add a basic surround system with an AV receiver, 2 bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer to start with. I was thinking of the Yamaha RX-V673 (based on reviews).

I'm not sure with speakers will match best (< 800 euro)?

1) Boston acoustics 2xA26 + ASW250 subwoofer

2) Q acoustics 2x 2020i + 2070i subwoofer

3) Monitor audio 2x BX2 + BRW10 subwoofer.

Besides the tv, I'll use the system for radio/ cd listening. I'm not planning to use speaker stands, I'll place them on a bookshelf (just below the tv).

What do you guys think/ advice? Alternatives maybe?

Hi Steven, as far as im aware Monitor Audio pair well with yamaha amplification. You should really try and demo tho. Depending on budget you could try and find some ex demo/display b&w 685 or monitor audio silver rx1/rx2, I know a few retailers have these at the moment as iv been looking myself. You would also gain more performance by having speakers on dedicated stands if you can accomodate this? If i where you i would also look at a subwoofer from bk electronics say a xls200 or xxls400 regardless which speakers you choose, much better value for money and will outperform any of the above subwoofers, their are plenty of forums with opinions and reviews on these subs and if you shop around they can be found second hand at even more value. They also come in various finishes so easier to accomodate with the other half

I have no doubt all three work well with the Yamaha. It's just a question of finding the one that suits your tastes best. Also consider the B&W MT50 package if you need something smaller.
