Yamaha reviews??

Has what HiFi abandoned reviewing all Yamaha products, there have been multiple new AV recievers released recently, including the new Z11, but no reviews as of yet. Anyone know what any of these new products are like??

We request them, but it's up to Yamaha whether or not it chooses to supply review samples.

Fair enough, seems a bit odd though considering there track record, thought they would be trying to edge in on the Onkyo domination

Couldn't agree more - and we have much the same situation with Denon, too...

Any idea why, do you think there scared that they won't live up to the current standard?

No idea at all - I am sure these decisions have been made for what are thought to be sound marketing reasons.
