Hi Guys!

I have a Yamaha DSP-763 and I am very happy with it.

However I think that I can get more out of it, specially in stereo mode playing music, than my Q Acoustics 1010i can do.

So, I am very tempted to buy the B&W 685, only the fronts to start.

Does anyone run the B&W 685 with the Yamaha 763? Recommended? Thoughts?

Also, if anyone is selling a pair of 685, please let me know. [:p]

Cheers!!

Wahla21,

The Yamaha DSP-AX763 is indeed a good amp and the Q Acoustics 1010i package would be a 'price-appropriate and performance-appropriate' match, in my view. It should also sound good, tonally.

I however feel that you will need something with a little more juice, i.e. DSP-AX863SE (same generation amp) or something like the Denon AVR-2310 to really make the B&W's sing!
