Yamaha BD-S1900 ?

Does anybody have one of these players, I was in the market for a Sony 760 , but I think this would match my new Yamaha receiver's asthetics.

Does anyone know what the picture & sound quality is like?

How does it compare to the 760 or the LG BD390?

Is it Hackable for multi-region DVD playback.

(Not really interested in wifi/internet capabilites, just picture and sound performance)

I have not compared the BD-S1900 to the other players mentioned and i don't know about multi region dvd playback. However the picture and sound are both excellent. The BD-S1900's picture is sharp, detailed, potent and above all has a natural film like look with a rich and dynamic sound. I also applaud Yamaha for not including any picture adjustments. A great decision. The simpler the better.

I have done well with the BD-S1900 since it's release last November with most sold to existing clients with Yamaha AV amps.
