Good evening! I like the forum idea of " tweaking the system to the max ".Mine is basic, but the amp kicks ass.I have spent many nights, reading reviews and forums, and I cannot stand it anymore - there is no way to try and buy...Here is what I currently have, a modest system that sits on my desk :
Speakers : Boston Acoustics A25 + Atlas Equator 2.0 OFC cables ( thanks, Whathifi, for both )
Amplifier : Harman Kardon HK6550
DAC : Arcam rPAc - I use it with my laptop a lot.
Now I have the hard choice to think if there is any point buying a better USB like the Furutech ADL Formula 2, since the Arcam rPac is asynchronous. Second, I wonder if I should buy a good interconnect between DAC and amp, as the currents is an $ 2 one.I have narrowed the choice between what I can get shipped - Chord Cobra Plus VEE or Chardass Cross Link, or even Audioquest Turquoise? It will be an overseas delivery, so no returns accepted - I have already spoken to some shops and eBay sellers...
