Hello, does anyone have any experience of using the 'wooden' cone feet, as can be purchased from Russ Andrews or off EBay? To be honest, I can't see how they can be better than the rubber feet already on my amp, but they're not a lot of money (off EBay), so I was wondering about giving them a try. Has anyone tried them? What do you think?

Cheers.

Personally I wouldn't spend a penny with them. They are probably made from cheap rubbish timber, surrounded by mystery, myth and hype and sold on at a ridiculous profit.

Some years ago I used aluminium cones under a Marantz top loading CD player, but to raise its height within a cabinet! Never tried the RA cones, but he has been selling them for years.

Pace nick, I’ve found his products nicely made, and supplied promptly. With a moneyback trial you can’t go wrong if you’re curious, but I would ask what problem you hope to solve. Sure, some claims seem a bit far fetched, but those are far more moderate since the ASA questioned what evidence was available. When you go down that route there’s not much ‘evidence’ for anything in HiFi, but it doesn’t stop lots of gear being sold!
