i'm going to bying a samsung UE55D8000 lcd tv. I have looked at some 3d players and read some reviews about the samsung bd-c7900 and the sony bdp-s770but i'm still not sure about the quality of 3d watching on them and also whate type of 3d glasses do i need to get?And does it matter if for example i have a sony player and a samsung tv and panasonic 3d glasses.

help needed.

thanks.

Enrique.

The type of 3D glasses depends on the TV you have. At present, only Panasonic 3D glasses work with Panasonic 3D TVs, Samsung with Samsung etc. You cannot use one brand of 3D glasses with another brand of 3D TVs (practically speaking). Any 3D capable blu-ray player will work with any 3D TV.

You can mix and match the manufacturer of the TV and the player, but the TV and the glasses must be the same manufacturer, more over you need to ensure you buy the right glasses to match the set. The dealer you buy the TV from will be able to point you in the right direction. Remember the D series have the Bluetooth type of glasses.
