Hi guys iam finally in the market for a wireless sub woofer to go with my 1910 denon and ma radius floorstanders.

i have seen a few options need some advice on best way.

I know of boston acostics sub, keff (way out of my budget), polk audio, or buy a sub of my choice and add the wireless kit which costs £150.

Does anyone know how good it would be?

Thanks

PS space is a issue i want to put on side of sofa!

Hi,

Not sure why you want wireless. I use a 5m QED Minature Subwoofer Cable that fits under the carpet even better (slimmer) than the QED Micro and QED Flat speaker cable that i use. Very impressed with results. Clean, pure sound delivery.

I also use banana plug sockets to attach the rears so that i can take down rear speaker stands when needed with no loss of clarity. Guess wall sockets would work the same. Another option.

Looked at wireless kit for my new Sony reciever but the box was bulky and messy and still relies on speaker cable. Also a bit expensive!

Not sure if this helps but good luck anyway.

Kind Regards,

When will people accept that AV kit needs wires!!!! I agree, look at a discrete sub cable from QED or Van Damme.
