Wireless 5.1 surround sound speaker system

I have a Pioneer PDP-5000EX plasma screen. I would like to link a wireless 5.1 (or 7.1) surround sound speaker system to it.

A few questions:

1. Does a true wireless 5.1 surround sound speaker system exist (i.e. all the speakers are wireless)?

2. If yes, which system would you recommend (with a decent price, i.e. no more than GBP 1,500);

3. I have a Sonos system I use to beam music wireless, including through the Pioneer screen. Will there be a compatibility issue with the wireless surround sound system?

4. If such a wireless does not exist yet, when do you expect such a system to be launched and by whom?

5. If no purely wireless surround system does exist, what is the best substitute currently (still below GBP 1,500)? Someone recommended the Yamaha YSP40D, do you agree?

I'm not aware of any full 5.1 wireless speaker systems out there. We (KEF) offer a Wireless solution for rear effects and a new Wireless Subwoofer!

In most cases, the rear speakers and subwoofer are the most awkward elements to get cables to, so, a Wireless solution seemed logical.
