I clicked the link and it takes me to a different type of entry option (i.e. I have to put in my email and agree to terms and conditions).

Does this mean I will be bombarded with spam from Sky until I give to thier relentless sales drive and pay for a subscription?

I did not even read the terms me, i have a feeling i might regret that one though.

As it clearly says on the competition page markyd:

Submitting your details indicates your consent, for the time being,
that we and our partners may contact you about products and services
that will be of interest to you by post, phone, e-mail and SMS. You can
opt-out at ANY time using the contact details in our privacy policy
should you not enjoy the great offers we have for you and we will NOT
contact you again until you ask us to do so.

By entering the promotion, the entrant agrees to these Terms & Conditions including the Privacy Policy. In addition, Haymarket may pass your personal information to the promoters and their data processors. However, we will always take all appropriate steps to protect your information.

I know about Haymarket's privacy policy, but what does the Promoter's say...?

It's well worth reading the T & Conditions. If i've understood what i read correctly,if your a new subscriber to Sky & you happen to win,you get 12 months free, but you have to sign 3 subscription contracts which as i understood it, locks you into a second 12 months period which you pay for,the basic 3D package appears to be £61 per month. That was enough for me so didn't read any further.

I'm sure someone will correct me if i've got it wrong.
