Will my Castle Howards work with the Onkyo TX-NR5008?

My system is entirely hi-fi focussed and I want to start building a home cinema setup.

I currently have a Linn Kolektor pre-amp, connected to 2 x LK140 power amps that are driving a pair of Castle Howard S1's (bi-wired).

Having read the review of the TX-NR5008 I'm very keen to implement it, but I'm an utter novice when it comes to system building: I assume the TX-NR5008 will replace the Linn Kolektor, so will it partner nicely with the LK140s and the S1's?

Separately, as cost is a consideration I won't be adding any speakers just yet and the S1's will "have to do", when funds allow though could you recommend some speakers to add to the S1's (budget will be around £2k)?
