Will a MF X-A1 suffice

To go with a Roksan CDP & Monitor Audio RS6.

Been chasing a Musical Fidelity X-A200R on ebay but went for £400 which is higher than I want to go.

My question is would a X-A1 be a decent fall back. It's only got 50 wpc compared to the 75 of the X-A200R but with the sensitivity of the MAs would the X-A1 make a good partner.

I've read about how MF & MA make a good pairing.

Yes it'll be fine 🙂

I ran my M/A RS6's off an Arcam Alpha 6 amp at one point and they still sounded superb

50wpc is enough to run the fine but just dont go stupidly loud

X-A1 sound broken up if you turn the volume up more than 10 to 12 position. Good amp for the price though.
