Ok set at 1.99 to start, with a very good reserve. and if it does not reach, it will stay with me I guess.
You've just got to trust the process. Last summer I sold my motorcycle on ebay with a starting price of 99p with a reserve of £800. I told myself I would be happy to get anything over £1k for it. The auction went up for 7 days ending at 8pm on a monday night. By Sunday 6 bids had been lodged taking the price up to £500 but I had like 40 people watching. The last hour of the auction the reserve was met and the final bid came in at £1225. It was the first time I had sold anything of real value on ebay and was definitely happy with the result. I would say though that the advice I was given was to put as much detail into the description and as many pics as possible and be up front with any blemishes. It seems that people buying on ebay are comfortable that they are buying secondhand, and if you are forward with any minor blemishes it only inspires trust.
