Whos pre-ordered the ps4 ?

After Sony about-turned on the download only issue, I started to come around about the PS4 and I'm now beginning to consider saving up for the PS4. Now you guys seem to think that it won't support 3D blue ray. That's disappointing for me because a year ago I invested in an LG D2343 Cinema 3D Monitor for playing back 3D blue Ray discs and, three months ago, I bought my first 3D camera; a FujiFilm FinePix W3 REAL 3D camera. The support for these on my "thin" PS3 is superb. The best on any device I own or have come across, including my iMac.

So it seems I'm going to have to stick wih my PS3 after all.

This in itself won't be a problem for me. I still have my old 60GB 'Fat' PS3 (upgraded to 650GB HDD) that I can have repaired and brought back online, if necessary.

Sony may change it's mind, of course. So perhaps I should keep on saving until they bring out a PS4 that does support 3D Blue Ray?

Read a review earlier that said BD 3d is included in the firmware update thet you can run on purchase date.

With so much focus on gaming, media has been something of an afterthought for Sony. MP3 and local digital media aren't currently supported, though are rumoured to be coming in a future update, while after some confusion 3D Blu-rays are supported after a launch-day firmware fix.

Just found a site called 'SimplyGames' who are still offering PS4 bundles with guaranteed delivery for launch day.

Have ordered myself one, so if turns up ok (and isn't bricked out the box...) then I can cancel the 'second wave' preorder I have with amazon - and if doesn't turn up or I get BLOD out the box then I still have the amazon pre-order as a plan B.

Good spot - looks like that's the only bundle tesco have left for either the ps4 or the xb1 (not sure what that says about "Knack"..?).

This is the one I went for, kill zone & COD: Ghosts; looks like they still have a couple left (bit more pricey but hopefully the games should show off the graphics nicely):

Update: it was delivered on friday 29th 4 days earlier than expected and now has a upgraded 1tb hard drive , currently playing cod ghosts with just amazing graphics :rofl:
