Which PC?

Someone's got to kick this one off, so I might as well start it. Has anyone researched what sonic differences there are between different PCs, specifically laptops. I'm talking Windows here not Mac. They would need to have been compared using the same media player software obviously. If nothing else, the PSU might or might not be a source of interference for example, I can hear my Viao marbling away like a Blackbird in the background when I stick my ear close to the tweeter. I can't hear it when listening to music, but it's a distortion so must have some effect no matter how small.....
