As long as it sounds equal to my Pioneer LX805 I will be happy. If you are listening over Bluetooth it probably doesn't matter.

Not getting new speakers just using my old B&W FPM speakers. I did start to wonder this yesterday, that perhaps I should.ve gone for something like:You are spending a lot of money with low expectations.
Let me give you some context. If you wanted to replicate my system:
amp, about £250 when new 30 years ago, you can pick one up for less than £100.
Speakers, about £600 when new, also about 30 years ago. Around £150 second hand now.
Streamer and external DAC £150 combined about 3 years ago. About the same to buy new today.
In short, you could pick up a system identical to mine for around £400 + leads and speaker cable.
I have heard two systems recently that don't sound as good as mine. One cost around £30,000. The other cost several thousand pounds.
The fist is an amazing system in a terrible room that the owner refuses to treat and doesn't understand how poor his system sounds.
The latter was set up as a vinyl only system with a Bluetooth receiver added for convenience such as radio and podcasts. Over a couple of years the appeal of vinyl has been surpassed by the convenience of streaming. However, the owner is sceptical of how much better than Bluetooth + iPhone a. Streamer could be.
In fairness, I think my system may just beat the second (to my ears) as I think my speakers are better, but we will never know as long as he leaves so much on the table!
In conclusion (I didn't intend to ramble so much), Bluetooth is fine for earbuds and in car, but if you are spending decent money on an amp. And speakers, look into a streamer.
On that subject, are you getting new speakers?
You have to remove the plastic bungs from the centre of the speaker terminals.Probably a stupid question but where do the banana plugs go on this amp?
I did wonder so it’s just like an av receiver in that respect then? ThanksYou have to remove the plastic bungs from the centre of the speaker terminals.

All good things come to those who wait......I think it’s coming Monday now, that’s poopy! 💩
Not that stupid, lots of people ask the same question!I did wonder so it’s just like an av receiver in that respect then? Thanks
Haha not surprised. So, I had narrowed it down to the Arcam A15 and a Cambridge Audio CA81 MK 2 but I asked AI will it sound better over Bluetooth than my Pioneer LX805 amp and it said it will likely to! 🙂
I have decided to refuse delivery Monday. Thanks for the advice. 👍You are spending a lot of money with low expectations.
