I also have two headphones amplifiers, in my study, its the Gustard H26 dual mono class A and the bedroom, I have Xduoo TA-66 tube amp.
I have an AV Receiver amp in the Pioneer VSA-LX805 amp which has been liked to a high-end integrated Hi-Fi amp.
How about you?
Just edited my original post, thanks for the suggestion.Might be an idea to say why you're asking and what you're trying to achieve and if you're looking for recommendations or if it's just out of curiosity.
I have a Denon ACR 2311 for home theatre but use the Preamp outs for my main Front L/R speakers using HT Bypass into an Arcam SA 30 which I use for all my stereo use.
Your Marantz stereo amp looks very interesting. I see it’s built for stereo HiFi and home cinema 2.2 setups! Something that could very well interest me in the future.![]()

This Marantz amp quite interests me:Previously had a Arcam FMJ A49 for Hi Fi.
Now use the Marantz AV8805A for both Cinema and Hi Fi listening.
So, I misread about the my Pioneer LX805 amp being liked to a high end integrated amp, see here:I have an AV Receiver amp in the Pioneer VSA-LX805 amp which has been liked to a high-end integrated Hi-Fi amp that goes with B&W FPM6 speakers. I use it for TV sound, HiFi sound and Blu-ray.
So I would be very interested to know now I am into Hi-Fi stereo setups which amp and speakers you guys are using, so I can look them up. I am doing this out of curiosity to begin but to also widen my knowledge and possibilities for future setups of my own.
So what’s your combination of amp and speakers?
Gel this is a Cinema only Amp not Stereo if you want best of both the 70 stereo would be better suited .This Marantz amp quite interests me:

Do you have both of those Pioneer receivers. So, I misread about the my Pioneer LX805 amp being liked to a high end integrated amp, see here:
It’s basically saying it’s not and an integrated amp will sound better, which now interests me even more in this thread. Any recommendations of Integrated amps going with my B&W FPM4 speakers, that will sound better than a £1000 old Pioneer receiver in the LX70 amp? 🙏
Yes, connected to B&W FPM speakers.Do you have both of those Pioneer receivers.
Do you think it will sound better than my AV receivers with music? ThanksGel this is a Cinema only Amp not Stereo if you want best of both the 70 stereo would be better suited .
in Stereo it should has its not a AV only Amp.I would go demo one .Do you think it will sound better than my AV receivers with music? Thanks
Would does it sound like hooked up to your B&W 603 S3 speakers?in Stereo it should has its not a AV only Amp.I would go demo one .
Thanks Matthew. 👍I'm using a NAD 3020A - approximately 43 years old, but completely recapped and restored. I also have a 3120 (recapped and restored, but currently with a problematic phono stage), a Mission 778X and Audiolab 6000A MkII.
They are all excellent amplifiers and I could live with any of them, but I find the NADs especially engaging, and consistently so regardless of the music I'm listening to, and they work well with all the speakers I own (JPW Sonata, Fyne F301i, Rogers LS2a/2, Mordaunt-Short MS10i, Acoustic Research AR18S).
If i couks afford it that's what I would be doingI have nothing newer than 2009 but if I was to buy a brand new one, top of my list would be the Marantz PM6007 integrated amp.
