Hi guys,

i am thinking of getting a floorstanding speakers & not sure which one shall i go with.

I dont wanna crank up too much budget since it will only be for my room, listening to music.

It'll either be Monitor Audio BX5, Polk Audio TSi400 or Klipsch RF52.

Currently i'm using Marantz PM6004 amp, Marantz CD6004 & Pro-Ject Debut turntable with Monitor Audio BX2.

Normally i listen to rock, post-rock songs, easy listening & at times metal music.

Also should i get a subwoofer too ?

Your feedbacks are greatly appreciated.

Big fan of the BX5, copes with everything from ABC to Ac/Dc, from Black Sabbath to Black Uhuru, from Faithless to Faith no More. Wouldn't think that you need a sub, certainly not for stereo.

Tannoy Revolution DC6T at £550 in Richer Sounds. These won the 2012 Award at £800, so should be on the shortlist. You should have enough bass with your current set up, but it is a personal matter, so only you can decide that. I wouldn't have one to start with. If you later feel you want one, then go ahead.
