Which DAC ?

Same with the two (£100) DACs that I use.
Though it goes without saying (for some) that a hundred quid DAC is too cheap to sound any good 😉

To be honest Gray, with a decent CDP there's little or no need for an external Dac. The internal Dacs on decent CDPs are more than adequate, for playing CDs

I've got it fully working now and I'm used to it's quirks .
Ive had a reply from Leema and can have a chat with them for any concerns I have that aren't addressed in the instructions.

What are your thoughts on the Leema so far?

In a good way.it has a more forward detailed sound very open a lot of separation and space between the notes .
My Linton's are laid back so the Leema DAC brings them to life with a more energetic sound

Yes it's a lot better then the roksan.but I would knock a couple of stars off for the interface.
The sound is very good so much detail.

There you go. Don't pay too much attention to any reviews. They can be helpful and misleading in equal measure.

Nothing's perfect but if the end result ideal, conundrum solved.
