I have a pioneer PDP 434 HDE plasma coupled with a pioneer BDP-LX71 blu ray and I would like to know which button reduces picture noise is it

1 Sharpness

2 Contrast

3 Colour

4 DNR

Any help on picture setting will be appreciated to ensure that I have the best blu ray hi def picture possible, on some discs I see grain and noise

I'm assuming DNR would stand for Digital Noise Reduction - is there nothing in the manual?
NB - most guides I've seen to setting up your TV generally tell you to turn these settings off. Which films are you experiencing grain on - in some cases this might actually be a result of the director putting this in on purpose to give the film a certain look (Syriana and Traffic are good examples of films which have done this).

The films that I had grain on was Iron man in some scenes & transformers although CGI movies look great in blu-ray. Thanks Professorhat I'll turn off the DNR and check the manual online at Pioneer.
