yep and in a small room, the ATC infinite baffle / no porting seems much more sensibleDidn't realise how expensive those Neats are.
£300 difference is a fair bit.

black only for me; thoughts please when plugged in... when you getting em ?Stick another £300 on the Neat's for a nice finish too. I'm interested to hear them when I get the call from the store.
Still waiting for the store to confirm when they have a pair in for me to come and have a listen.black only for me; thoughts please when plugged in... when you getting em ?
I'd be interested of how much improvement there will be over the LS50 assuming the N50 is giving them enough current. from memory, I was told the LS50 were at a price point not associated to their capabilities and most people pairing £1k amps to them did them an injustice.Still waiting for the store to confirm when they have a pair in for me to come and have a listen.
Plan is to listen to a few pairs of speakers and then take one pair for a home loan.
My system can differentiate between CD quality and HIGH RES so it must be pretty good. I have ELAC UNI-FI REFERENCE UBR62 BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS (designed by the legendary ANDREW JONES) POWERED BY A CAMBRIDGE AUDIO CXA81 INTEGRATED AMP THAT RECEIVES IT'S INPUT FROM THE CAMBRIDGE AUDIO CXN(V2) MUSIC STREAMER.Hello to all users!!!
I want some recommendations which of the following bookshelf speakers & amps are best for me.
My room size is 12m2 (some treated) i listen to music nearfield (aprox 1,5 meters) and mostly in low to moderate volumes.
Long listening sessions so lively and forward sound speakers are not for me!!!
The speakers will be placed on wooden stands.
My music taste is 70s,80s rock, soul, funk.
I end up in these 3 speakers: "Pylon Diamond Monitor 15 mkIII", "Dynaudio Evoke 10" , "Opera Prima"(budget under 1800 euro) .
For amplifiers i end up in 3 models (budget also under 1800 euro) "Monrio mc 201" , "Audiolab 7000A" and "Fezz Torus 5040".
I want the amp to have some warmth to the sound.
I have to notice that this will be my first hifi system. The last 20 years i used studio monitors for music listening only and now its time for a change!!!
Thank you!!!
