Which AV reciever upgrade?

Looking at upgrading my AV reciever which is an Onkyo 705.

I have Kef iQ7 front iQ9c iQ1 rear and a BK XLS300 sub.

I would like component upscailing and my budget is 1k max.

Looking at the Onkyo 876 orginally but now looking at the yamaha v1900 after reading your review, how do these compare?

also seen an Onkyo 906 for £900.

Now that Yamaha has included HD Audio catching up with the inferior Onkyo offerings, they are as always the ultimate choice. They are even better value than ever.
