I was interested to read the £1200 amp comparison, and noted the Heed Si took the honours.

I would like to upgrade my amp, but am now using a Sonos connect as a primary source, so ideally a Dac inclusive amp would be on the list,

In the test, only the Leema Elements amp had it's optional Dac fitted, but most of the competition can also have Dac modules or have a comparable Dac version available.

A test of Dac inclusive amps in this budget range would be great .

Has anyone any feedback on the dac upgrade for the Heed, or compared it to a Cyrus 8dac?

thanks

mike

In the leastest edition Of Hifi choice the M-dac was placed first aganist the £1500.00 Cyrus dac. Am currenlty using the M-dac with the oppo BDp 105eu blue ray player & gettin very good results.. The M-dac has only got pre amp included. Hope this helps.. Others may have other ideals.
