Shouldn't be beyond the wit of a site computer geek to arrange some filter to stop them reaching the forum.
(All those ones that look identical at least)

I have no idea why your post was deleted, where was it?
Possibly done in error when there was a massive clearout of spam posts.

I found your post in the approval queue but strangely, it didn't filter through to the mods directly for approval. It was never deleted. Some posts are filtered for approval automatically if the algorithm deems there may be spam. Maybe the title of the thread triggered it?

Sorted now.

I've spent a good few years playing with amps, eventually realising that what I love is Class A... Sugden brilliance is where it's at (if you haven't had the chance to hear a Sugden - do it!! Utterly superb amps)... However, I've just fully dipped into the darkside... I've already played with...

Forgive me, I was actually being a little sarcastic - not noble, I know! The glut of spam occurred from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 a.m. this morning - not time when I think you'd reasonably expect the mods to be on active duty.

As I say, I've flagged up that filtering a few key words would send a lot of this stuff into the approval queue, so members wouldn't be bothered by it. It's up to admin now.

I understood that all first posts were queued for approval before listing. Perhaps this was not the case otherwise spam like we have been seeing would not happen.

I think it takes reason for them to be pushed into the approval queue. What's been done expands the range of reasons for so doing. At least, that's what I think is happening...
