I love Amon Duul II and I'm always looking for more of their records. You can't go wrong with 'Phallus Dei', 'Yeti' and Tanz Der Lemminge' or 'Dance Of The Lemmings.' All great records. 'Wolf City' is good too but I don't have a copy. A proper hippy communal band!

Thanks. I'll see if I can get a reasonably priced copy of Phallus Dei, then go from there.

This was the film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454931/soundtrack

Check this out Jim. I was at this gig, and it scared the living sh*t out of me.

Re Amon Duul II: I forgot to mention 'LIve In London' which is pretty scarce on lp but a great record. They play stuff from 'Yeti' and 'Dance Of The Lemmings.' I always forget that one. Dunno why.

Re: Amon Duul II: Live in London - there's one on ebay as we speak..

On at £9.99 at the moment - I can't post a link for some reason but if you search for it, you'll find it!

Was already watching it, but thanks for the heads up. *smile*

Had a day off to do my tax return, didn't actually do it, but played a few records instead.

Siouxsie & The Banshees - A Kiss In The Dreamhouse

AC/DC - If You Want Blood, You've Got It

Solex- Solex Vs The Hitmeister

James Brown - Hot Pants

Pale Saints - In Ribbons

The Cure - The Top

Along with the singles records, I think this one is their finest hour. Great band and somewhat underrated I reckon.

The Sugarcubes, Life's Too Good

Another mixed, though somewhat smaller session.

dEUS - The Ideal Crash

Cranes - Wings Of Joy

Ivor Cutler - Dandruff

I love Ivor Cutler more than is probably healthy.

Scotland's greatest ever.

I need a few more albums, though 'Dandruff' would take some beating.

Kate Bush - Hounds Of Love

The Beat - What Is Beat

B52s - Cosmic Thing

and a bit of:

Beatles - Sgt Pepper

I like Ivor Cutler too... a singular talent to be sure. Freddy doesn't like anything a bit odd, BBB; he's a bit odd that way. 🙂

Bunny Wailer-'Blackheart Man.'

John Mayall-'The Turning Point.'

The Nice-'Ars Long Vita Brevis.'

Traffic-'Traffic.'

Hot Tuna-'First Pull Up, Then Pull Down.'

The Posies-'Frosting On The Beater.'

Thin White Rope-'In The Spanish Cave.' and 'Sack Full Of Silve.'

Kenny Wheeler-' Song For Somebody.'

Roy Harper-'Return Of THe Sophisticated Beggar.'

My Bloody Valentine'Isn't Anything.'

Some nice tunes on 'Folkjokeopus' too, 'McGoohan's Blues' in particular a favourite of mine. I've got a scratched up copy of 'Blues From Laurel Canyon', which is probably my fav John Mayall album of the ones I've heard, really needs replacing.

Carpenters - Singles 69-73

Peter Cook/Dudley Moore - Derek And Clive Live

Metallica - Ride The Lightning

I hope you have a strong constitution *biggrin*

I didn't get all the way through it. I don't mind extreme filth, but it has to make me laugh, and it wasn't really. I'll play the second side sometime soon.
