Fela Kuti - Expensive ****

Is that a statement or the album title?*biggrin*
Jimbo, if that's an original copy of Expensive ****, I am officially envious. Been listening to some Fela over the past week, mostly on CD.

Title name and was not expensive.

Unfortuately it is a reissue. They have reissued a load of his recently.

Just listened to the Stranglers - 10 album. Originally I was never a big admirer other than their early punky efforts. This album has really caught my attention and have turned it over three times thus far.

Amazing what old age does to you.!!!!

A name I know, but have never heard. Will have to watch out for them.

Vallenfyre - Splinters

Love - Forever Changes

Porcupine Tree - On The Sunday Of Life

... and who knows what else?

Possible aurora tonight in these parts (UK) so another couple of hours of tunes before I poke my nose outside.

edit: no Northern Lights so far...

Porcupine Tree - Deadwing, Red Vinyl on Gates Of Dawn. Randomly looked it up on discogs to find it sells for .£200 - £250! I paid about £15 for it new when it was released. Not selling though. Going to catalogue the pricy stuff and leave it to my daughter when I expire.

Next up is Ray La Montagne - Til The Sun Burns Black... in hopeful honour of some magnetospheric action

Today:

Holger Czukay – Movies
Holger Czukay – On The Way To The Peak Of Normal
Holger Czukay, Jah Wobble, Jaki Liebezeit – Full Circle
Jah Wobble, The Edge, Holger Czukay – Snake Charmer

Don't know why, was just in the mood to listen to these today, even though they're not all that brilliant (although I do like Jah Wobble's bass playing).
