If you're buying a Rega Planar 3RS, you must be dealing with a Rega dealer, because Rega don't allow models from the P3 upwards to be sold by mail order. Why don't you visit that dealer, and see what they suggest? It would certainly be worth trying the Rega Elex IV, amongst other options.

You need some treatment? Some French wine? I use speakers only made in France for 25 years and I am happy with them. But I like British HiFi as well, Italian (Audia Flight at home) Swiss (Benz Micro) etc. World is not Black and White.

I agree. Every nation has something to offer.
I looked at my hifi and TV setup and it really is multi national.

Apologies for digressing and going off thread a bit, but it would be interesting hear from any one, who solely buys British or has a setup where all the parts are sourced from one country?

ALCHRIS TX-9 or my PMC P5

I don’t consider Cambridge Audio to be fully British consequent to manufacturing locale.

Mind you NAIM is part of Frenchy Focal but built-in Salisbury , they'll British through and through.
