Have a conversation with one of the 2 stores where i was trying to get a good price on a pair of evoke 10, he told me my amp isn't up to the task for a pair of evoke 10 and nearfield as they are gonna be used is not optimal for evoke 10
Than i remembered some saying many years ago (could have been here, i remember i was saying i once had a marantz pm8005 + budget mission lx 2's ) that a very good amp + budget speakers (but still good, diamond 12's, dali oberons, dali kupid, ma bronze, dynaudio emit, speakers like that) + a high tier amp (cambridge audio cxa 81, rega elex, rotel ra 1572 and other similar amps) would sound better than higher tier speakers like dynaudio evoke 10 and kef r3meta with a good but modest priced amp like my wiim amp pro and wondered if i should get an better amp with room correction (no the lyngdorf TDAI 1120 is to expensive they are 2000 euros)
Because something always being the weak link in any system
Better speakers the amp would be the weakest link by a bigger margin than if i change my amp
Scaling (my system) i think is better with a higher tier amp than higher tier speakers
Bigger sound, improvements in the bass (60/120 watt is fine)
