I think one needs to be pragmatic. I accept, paying for cables that costs more than your entire system is beyond daft, it just stupid.

I'm guessing that people who can afford these cables have got systems worth way more than the cable!

My nephew is a doctor, mention the word and it's a big thumbs 👍 up from me.
They do an amazing job.

They have more disposable income than the average person, for certain.

I'm not saying all doctor spend money on things like this, of course not. But very few people in total do. The ones that do are likely to have a job such as doctor or similar, and have audio as a hobby. You wont find many electrical engineers spending money on this sort of thing!
