I am just deciding to buy the Arcam DV173 DVD Player or the Pioneer BDP-LX71 Blu-Ray (both at about £599) and wondered your thoughts on which is better for 1080P DVD Upscaling/picture quality via an Infocus In76 Projector.Obviously the Dealer is saying that the Arcam will outperform the Blu-Ray in this regard.
I have the Arcam AVR-280 also.
I know it may be a long-shot.
