What Hi Fi Team - JVC DLA HD100

Having read the recently updated Best Buys I notice that the JVC DLA HD100 has been giving the top spot for projectors over £2000.

First of all is the new JVC DLA-HD750 not a better projector than the previous model and secondly how does the JVC DLA-HD750 compare against the likes of the SIM2 HT3000E for picture quality.

Yup, even the 350 model is meant to be better than the 100. But only just. The 100 is still amazing, and many can't tell the image apart between the 350 and 750.

Guess they haven't tested them yet, but you're right, they're out of date. Those pages tend to be updated when time allows. Choices lag the latest tests a bit.

Has the JVC DLA-HD750 as good a picture quality as the Sim2 HT3000E but a price approx. £5000 cheaper.

Have the What HiFi team any comments on the above too comparisons, I hope to buy possibly one of the above but want to ensure I buy the projector with the best picture quality for a 12 foot screen, any help please.

The JVC is one of the best units at the price and compares with the Sony VW80. I am not familiar with the Sim, is that not an older model? Have you seen either first hand in a proper demonstration?
