According to the forums here they've been bought by Shanling and will now be produced in the same factory as Arcam, CA, Carat and Cayin.

Shanling had been a majority shareholder for a long time and purchased the final shares at the end of 2009.

As the numbers weren't great, they decided to relocate production and R&D to their China-based facility, retaining MR YBA as a consultant.

They were intending to go into distribution in France, but I haven't heard any more since the start of February.

That's a shame, it was fine, innovative gear.

I think Shanling have changed their mind about keeping the name going. There are several reports of the guarantees not being honoured so maybe they've decided to cut their losses.

The website hasn't been updated for a long time.

YBA is back and the UK distributor is Zepher Audio. I amd here in Quebec, Canada. Just recieved my new YBA a100 integrated from their heritage line and its fantastic.
