What fm receiver amp

I am looking to get a reasonably priced fm receiver that is also an amplifier.
Uses: to play back audio files from my phone. Possibly hook my tv up to it. Output to 250 wt JBL speakers.
Bluetooth or cable hookup from phone to amplifier.
I am 69, so don't really need high end anymore.
I cleaned my older amplifier volume control, but it still crackles. I have also refoamed the speakers.

Hi-fi receivers aren't as plentiful as they once were.
If you can still buy new, you won't have a lot of choice - and secondhand might have the sort of issue that yours still has.

Is your old amp a receiver - that you might like to keep?
You said you cleaned its volume control. If contact cleaner successfully reached its tracks and wipers, then either the tracks are worn or you've got a dry joint on the PCB.

Am I right in thinking you just want a change? as you'd be more than capable of fitting a new volume control or re-soldering any dry joints on the old amp.

Somewhere like CPC components or E- Bay (new, not used).

First ensure it is the control itself causing the crackling.
A PCB-mounted, dual-gang, stereo pot will have 6 pins to desolder.
Once detached, you can take all appropriate physical measurements.
Its electrical resistance will be printed on its casing - and can otherwise be measured across the 2 outermost pins of each gang.

Look for a dual- gang, logarithmic potentiometer of the same resistance (ohms).
(A plastic shaft will be easier to shorten than a metal one).

....or you could just contact your manufacturer for a spare 👍
