I live in the UK and generally recommend what I know/own, how could I otherwise. You are right though, there are other products worth considering.

Rega Brio new is 1,049 €

When I raised this (Brio) I mentioned wallapop which is a second hand site a bit like ebay, and which the OP mentioned.

I think 'new for EU300' which was in the OP's original requirements, is indeed a bit of a stretch.
