What DVD discs?

Which discs (standard DVD and Bluray) will play happily on the Panny Bluray player? Or which discs should I avoid?

Region 1, 2 or other?

Assuming the player is not able to play discs from all areas. You should be looking for region 2 for DVD, region B for blu Ray diSCS

Youll also be able to play those marked. As region 0 and ALL REGION.

I purchased the Panny from Richer Sounds so I assume it's a UK spec model.

Most Blu-Ray players can be converted to Multi-region DVD if required, and you will find many remotes available on EBay that will do the job. (Make sure your model is included in any remote you buy) Many dealers already have the remotes and will do it for you for a minimal charge.

Multi-region Blu-Ray normally requires a hardware modification and so tends to be expensive. (Many Blu-rays are already none region specific, but always check first if purchasing from outside Europe)
