what cables to use on subs

Hello all. Wasn't X-factor funny tonight at the end

Everybody bangs on about what speaker is best for their chosen speakers. What about the Sub's? Aren’t they just as important to the whole musical experience? Anyway I'm in the process of buying a mission E3 ASR to pair up with my Yamaha DSP -AX763
I have (will be getting soon) Mission 33i with Chord company carnival silver screen and Mission M3 dsi rears with QED silver micro

i heard its best to use all cables by the same manufacturer? although i use qed silver anniversary xt for the speakers, and chord cobra 3 for the sub
