If you've paid £380 for a ticket, then your unlikely to bemoan the price of the "street food" on offer from the various vendors.

Yep, that's why the sky's the limit.
Can't think of a better place to get away with ripoff prices.
Loads of happy people, living for today.
Pay up or shut up 👍

You can't take it with you, and the govt will soon have it from you if you should need care in your dotage

That's the best reason to spend of course.
But I despise those happy to exploit others.
I could no more spend £5+ on chips, than you could spend £100 on a cable.

I personally think this years line up was fairly disappointing.

Obviously the ones I've posted were the standouts for me, but the vast majority of the acts this year are of no interest to me, and some whose sets I was looking forward to were meh... Gary Numan for example

I only wish musical quality had advanced to the same extent as the technicalities of stage shows.
I was involved in pro sound and lighting at various venues (before LED stage lights and automatic control of mic feedback).

The lights in particular now are fantastic - using around 200x less energy than the ones that used to burn me.
...just a shame about some of the 'music' 😐

My listening to Rock is retro, I'm struggling to pick more than one rock band I like today.
Actually there's two Imagine Dragons and Fontaines DC.

I like Pulp, Alanis Morissette, Prodigy are not too bad I suppose and a few other bands, for me the disappointing part was the headliners.

Pulp were excellent as usual, was a huge Prodigy fan and will watch, but they're just not the same since Keef's passing, and no amount of laser tributes will change that.

The surprise stand out for me so far is Fat Dog, great performance and had the audience absolutely bouncing....

The bit I caught before having to switch away, he was totally out of key and doddering around the stage, unsure if he was dancing or tripping over mic cables. Utterly cringe inducing.
