I watch The IT Crowd every year.
That's strange Pod.Many here like Father Ted and I cannot stand it
Thanks for the recommendation - they're already in the comedy collection. If you like programmes with Matt Berry, if you haven't done so already try, Year of The Rabbit and Toast of London.
Agree with Mrs. Brown's Boys. Always feckin this and that.I watch The IT Crowd every year. I miss it if I don't. I wish they'd done more, but it possibly came to an end when it was still really funny. Noel Fielding's character Richmond was greatly underused in my opinion.
Many here like Father Ted and I cannot stand it, with the only 'comedy' I hate more being Mrs Brown's Boys.
Dreadful.
I've seen Brendan O'Carroll just being himself, might have been on QI and, he was quite funny.Agree with Mrs. Brown's Boys. Always feckin this and that.
I think real swearing is best when used sparingly and then tends to have more impact, especially in comedy.Agree with Mrs. Brown's Boys. Always feckin this and that.
Interesting piece of trivia about Father Ted: Edd China, ex-Wheeler Dealers mechanic, arranged all the special effects.
Agreed.I think real swearing is best when used sparingly and then tends to have more impact, especially in comedy.
I didn't even know he'd died. One of her guitarists was the late John Miles.
Yes, he sadly died a year or two ago. I saw John Miles in concert at the Wimbledon theatre back in the early 80s. Incredibly talented multi musician.I didn't even know he'd died.
Nor that one of the others he played for was Stevie Wonder.
A co-worker of mine described his track 'Music' as 'bland'...can you believe? 🤨
He toured with Tina Turner from 1980s to early 90s.I didn't even know he'd died.

Didn't see it. Wished I had.Mr Bates vs The Post Office. Excellent drama hope this brings more attention to their appalling treatment by the Post Office.
If you can get ITVx then it's available on catch-up PP. I binged all 4 episodes on Tuesday, there was no way I could wait a day to see the next episode after watching the first one.Didn't see it. Wished I had.
It already has - apparently 50 more victims have contacted solicitors based on the renewed public interest.Mr Bates vs The Post Office. Excellent drama hope this brings more attention to their appalling treatment by the Post Office.
Yup, we can get ITVx. I'll watch the first episode over the next day or two.If you can get ITVx then it's available on catch-up PP. I binged all 4 episodes on Tuesday, there was no way I could wait a day to see the next episode after watching the first one.
