Bruce Springsteen – The Rising

Must admit, prefer the mellower tracks, but a good album overall.

A great album. Hard to think who else could do the subject justice. The title track is extraordinary: it describes in very precise detail the experience of the NY Fire Department men walking up into the Twin Towers. Somehow he manages to make a disaster into a triumph -- which of course it was.

Elton John SACD of "Tumbleweed Collection" (5.1).

Not really an Elton fan, but this is very much in the style of his collaboration with Leon Russell, which I prefer.
