Band Of Bees - `Free The Bees` (cd)

Two perfect albums for the summer. The Thorns sound like a young Crosby, Stills & Nash and track 7 `I Love You` on the Bees album is the greatest Jefferson Starship (circa 1976) ballad they never wrote.

An old release from the excellent 23Five label/organization. Loren Chasse of Jeweled Antler and Jim Haynes lay down some time suspending drones created from treated guitar and noise sounds.
