From Venezuela and California, Devendra Banhart. The album is called 'What Will Be'. The mix of genres is amazing; psychedellic, space rock, blues, heavy metal, folk, big band, Spanish crooner and reggae all get a look in. The closest equivalent I can think of is Beck with some of The Doors and Grateful Dead thrown in. Superb

PS - Daveh, I agree about the vocals for Dead Meadows.
