What are the best settings for the onkyo 606 and ps3.

Can anyone help. I got my hands on a 606 the weekend. i've set it up to my ps3 and V+ through hdmi.

All is working good. But i don't know if i have the settings right to get the best out of the 606 and ps3.

If anyone has any ideas....please let me know...it would be much appreciated.

As long as you have every possible sound format marked on the PS3's audio formats menu, it will simply output the HD sound formats as Linear PCM. The Onkyo will show PCM Multichannel or thereabouts - don't have a manual to hand - when it's handling these soundtracks.

I have the 605 and ps3, a warning comes up saying speakers may be damaged if device in use does not support frequency.

does 605 support all frequency and is this the same for cd audio,any advice.Thanks
