Well got the RXFX up on the wall..

Ok what a nightmare, WHY WHY WHY does MA have key holes in the back that are so small they wont fit most screw heads.

I had to wiggle and jiggle, and after I was done that, I did the same with the speakers.. Bazinga [😀]

Anyway I put one speaker 2mm lower than the other, this is for spacial effects, well thats what I will tell the wife.

You cant notice it unless you stand way back and stare, so I am not too bothered.

I put them in bi-pole mode behind me as my sofa is against the wall and 2 feet above my ears, and tested before, so no more drilling... This year

They look so sweet and cant wait to get some Master HD saving private ryan on them... Matter of fact, thats what I am going to do right now............ Bye

I had to loosen one screw and then adjust its position (with a hammer...

I had exactly the same issue tring to hang the on the wall! But it was worth it!

Congrats on the purchase!! They are brilliant performers!!

Not feeling the best today had a party at home last night and had the macbook paying through to my amp passing the remote around. Amp was playing at silly volumes!! Everyone was loving the tunes!!

VERDICT:

Well didnt watch saving private ryan, but watched Black hawk down, as have not seen since it came out.

Shame they didnt add the Master HD on it, but oh well.

The Bi-pole are totally different than the direct speakers thats for sure, they are not so directional and not in your face.

Even when I had my MS almost on the ceiling corner, I could still locate them, but the bi-pole are a lot smoother, and not so obvious, and more spread out and even

I really like them, and I think they look quite good on the wall, will take some pics tomorrow.

if they're set to bipole wont they be similar to bookshelf speakers in the way they output the sound? i thought dipole was the way to go for greater sound dispersion?

From what THX and MA say, if they are on the back wall directly behind you, they should be set to bi-pole, but if they are on the sides then di-pole.

Thats what it says in the manual as well.

Just put inception on blu ray the sound is fantastic. I suggest you try it when you can.

Released the same time as here, dec the 7th.

Anyway, I know what you mean, but would not talk about dvd's that have not been released and you having them on this site, as the mods will have a field day..LOL Just joking andrew.

Getting 40m roll of ethernet on wednesday, So hopefully that will be enough power to stream 1080p as my homeplugs just aint cutting it.

They are great for 720p but 1080p the movies go bananas

Yes it's a copy from the states usually i get them from DVD WORLD USA who do advanced street dates but on this occasion i got it from Memorabilia 2010 at the NEC.

I have to say Inception has a great Soundtrack the LFE get's a good work out in places.
