i been out of the music segment for a few years now and notice a strange fact
there were in my time thirty years ago when stereo was very in very few stereo amps had more than 50 watt/channel and now we demanding
ourself that 5 x 75 watt / 2 x 100 watt shall be up to the task
i had a teac 2 x 50 watt andd my brother a kenwood 2 x 35 watt stereo amps and we could not cranck up the volume bottom more than
5 on a total of 10 figgers risking that the wall papers was falling down
i know people who had a NAD 2 x 25 watt and there had the same problem
all of us living in average sides rooms
i knew a discobar driven by a 2 x 50 watt makintosh
is there a particuly reason for this ?
thank you
