Watching downloaded 5.1 movies

I would like to download hd movies from the internet but some movies I have downloaded came with 2.0 channel audio. I have two questions that I would appreciate your answers for:

1) Are there downloadable dolby digital or high quality 5.1 channel audio movies?

2) Could I implement higher quality audio for movies I have already downloaded later on, and where or how could I obtain them?

Most services like iTunes provide 5.1 audio for movies.

What's already in 2.0 cannot be changed to true 5.1 as information is already lost.
