I am looking to buy a new home cinema system but can't seem to find any suitable candidates out on the market at the moment.
The main things I am interested in is USB connection, MKV video playback and good audio quality through 5.1 or 7.1 speakers.
My price range is between £250-550.
Also not to be picky but I would like either a Sony, Samsung or LG system just because I have been satisfied with their products in the past.
From what I can see every Sony, Samsung or LG system for this price range has faults. Whether its no MKV support, underpar audio or flimsy speakers which fall over with a gust of wind. I do understand that for this price you are not going to find gold, I just don't want my speakers to be made out of paper mache :<.
I currently have a LG 42 LH5000 TV which was an amazing buy (thanks WhatHiFi!). Is it possible to find this sort of value for money with home cinema aswel?
As things are at the moment I may be better off waiting until May for the Sony BDV-E380 which looks like its going to be a beast of a system for its price.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?
